FILTERS ARE BACK!!

#AO3 is back up with new filters! Release notes coming later today.

We'll probably be doing some tuning over the next couple of days to make sure the new system is running at its best.

I was going to look up and author for a fic and by the time AO3 loaded, I forgot the author AND the fic!

I've been trying to remember for the last 10 minutes. Every time it feels like the author is coming to me, it slips away again. I know that if I remember the author I'll remember the fic

I can't even remember what I was doing to make me think of this author/fic either.

gah so annoying.

a few months ago I added AO3 to my google reader and I'm so glad I did.

I found 2 fics that have been posted that aren't showing up because they have a publication date in the past.

I went to sleep without eating around 5 pm (it all boiled down to me being too lazy and hot to want to cook and lack of parking preventing me from going to taco bell *grumbles*) then woke up at 2 am from a weird dream. It's 230 in the morning and I'm hungry!

so I FINALLY have the money to buy the tickets for the June 16 showing of No Way Around But Through, and I get to the end to submit my payment and get this message:

so i don't know if my payment went through and I have other bills to pay and argh!

I'll have to wait until Wednesday to check since tomorrow is Election Day here in California and I'll be gone from 530 am - 10 pm or 11 pm

and...is it me, or does the internet seem slow today? Has the consistent 502 errors from AO3 spread to other places and people just aren't on the net anymore? LOL

I want new fic to read! qweenmewwy has been posting links to fics on her twitter. some I've read and some I haven't, so that's been keeping me distracted.

anyways, I should probably turn in. I have to be up early tomorrow and it's going to be a loooooooong day. I won't be able to have my laptop to get on the internet, but I'll have my phone and I have limited access to the internet there.

All week, and possibly longer, I've been getting Error 502 messages from AO3.

That's a whole lot of activity going on to cause the servers to go slow and crash or whatever. Even when the twitter status page says things are up and running. clearly not so.

anyone else having problems with AO3?

I just posted a fic (twice) and neither are showing up, but when I click on the link I posted here, the link shows up...

eta I don't know what was going on, but I had to delete the other posting of the fic and repost it. apparently it's posting with an April 16 date and that's not today, so when I changed it to the 15th, it showed up in the correct spot.

I'm supposed toi get alerts from LJ, AO3 and FF.net (the latter two for specific authors/stories) and I'm not getting them.

I happened to check FF.net and saw that 2 fics I should have gotten alerts for and didn't, had been updated, TWICE since the last alert I got sometime on Wednesday!

I don't know what's going on but it's bugging the crap outta me.

is there, or isn't there a H50 fic with the title of the past won't wait

or something to that effect?

I have it in my head and I know I read a fic with that title, or something like it, but I can't seem to find it.

just noticed that one of my fics has been bookmarked. that's a first!

Oh wait! someone bookmarked Danno's Rules too! That's just great! I need to get more of those rules worked out! it's sat idle for far too long.

a few of the alerts I've gotten from AO3 aren't appearing on this page. and I'm positive they are fics that should be there. This also means I have to rack my brain trying to remember the author, go to the author's page and find the fic (if I didn't bookmark it or mark it to read later).

In other news...working on a 4 part Christmas fic that I hope to finish and post over the coming days...and the plan is have it posted by Christmas Eve, but no later than December 26th.
