is AO3 down? I've been trying for an hour to load the site

I except issues with Ao3 for a while with Yuletide coming up. When that things goes live, it'll screech to a halt for days.

this was my first time experiencing that. before I would get the website telling me to check the twitter page for updates, but this time I didn't even get that.

I'd imagine they're prepping for the onslaught? Yuletide goes live tomorrow I think and then Ao3 gets hit by thousands of ppl logging in at a time..lol
