I keep a gun taped inside the toilet tank in the bathroom. Mostly because in the event of a break in that's probably where I'll be. Truthfully, in the event of almost anything happening that's probably where I'll be. It's where I like to spend my time. One time my little sister asked if I was at hospital when she was born and I told her NOPE, AT HOME ON THE SHITTER. I told her that's how I'm gonna spend all her birthdays too. *knocking* Oh I'm sorry, do you need to use the bathroom, Becky? *opening door* Go ahead -- I left a present in there for you (she's gonna turn out great).

So I saw that on a local morning news piece and immediately stopped what I was doing because when I heard bulletproof couch my mind went to Hawaii Five-0 and Steve McGarrett!

GUYS! He would totally have this! It's bulletproof and there's a gun safe! OMG! And the option for bullet resistant cushions, serving as portable, personal shields!

Imagine the EPIC FUCKING RANT Danny would have upon finding this! OH MY GOD!

So I'm watching the TV show 'Cheaters' and bam! idea!

Steve has his own private investigation business and is the host of a show (like) Cheaters.

Danny goes to Steve/his company to find out if Rachel is cheating on him.

Steve and his crew follow Rachel around, after they do their investigation, Steve tells Danny where Rachel is at the moment and when they go to confront her, he sees Grace and calls it off because he doesn't want his daughter to be caught in the middle.

Steve then arranges for the confrontation to occur when Grace is in school

Confrontation isn't pretty.

and an idea for another spooky-ish Halloween story I might try to write while working on the above fic. We shall see...

I really need to prioritize my writing projects!

so I had this idea based on a scene from an episode of NCIS that I'm watching. In the episode, Gibbs is called to a crime scene and gets dropped off by this mysterious red head woman.

my fic idea is that Steve is an openly gay man in the Naval Reserves who is now the head of the Governor's task force. He's also dating a loud mouth retired detective from Jersey who moved to Hawaii with his daughter.

well Steve is called to a crime scene in the early morning and asks Danny to drop him off there. Steve's team, comprised of Chin, Kono, and another woman (haven't decided who yet) wonder who their boss is dating and then they get a glimpse of the guy and start chatting amongst themselves trying to figure out who the guy is. They'd seen him a couple times before when Steve would get picked up from crime scenes or from HQ, but never got a good view of him.

In going through my bookshelves I came across several binders of incomplete (*NSYNC) fanfics. I flipped through them and holy crap! H50 fic ideas!

I also came across 2 note sheets of fic titles. I have no summaries attached to them but just reading them gave me flashes of H50 fic ideas.

packing on hold to jot these ideas down. maybe I'll pass them on to h50_bunny or maybe I'll work on them myself.

I don't know...

late night talk radio is going to be the death of me or something.

Right now, there's a talk show on called Coast to Coast AM and they're talking about Remote Viewing.

Of course with almost everything I hear, this gives me an idea for really out of this world, no pun intended, fic.

This would make a GREAT big bang, but like I said, I don't have it in me. Technically, I could do 24 smaller fics, but my plate is just too full. maybe this year I'll give the pilot episode a shot at being re-written in the remote viewer 'verse.

I haven't even watched last night's season finale of H-50, but I saw the first bit of it (before the opening credits) and I skipped all the way to the end and the last 5 minutes of it or so.

oh man!

Then I got post-season 2 prompt ideas and will be periodically posting them to h50_bunny or 3 of them I may post in samantha_kathy's Hawaii Five-0 Prompt Party 2012...or I might end up writing them myself. I don't know.

but the ideas! OMG!

ps. I think I really am sick. Last week had to have been allergies or something. i have a wet cough, runny nose and sore throat. last week I was just congested and had post-nasal drip thing going on. UGH

you know how when cookie cutter houses are built and the community is give like a fancy or idealistic name, like Rainbow Acres, or Rosewood Farm...I don't know, something like that.

anyways, are those called housing developments? this has been bugging me for the last hour lol

and this is partly to blame because I'm still thinking about the new Five-0 thing I posted about last night.





time is running out for me to get the last bits of my rough draft for casestory down. I need to have 7,000 and I'm over that mark already, but I want to wrap some scenes up so now I'm not sending it off without anything too incomplete. I seem to get work done for it in 500 word increments ever day. Have to e-mail it off on Tuesday, so I'm hoping to get a lot more done today and tomorrow.
