SHEIN OWNS ME! Like, I have a wishlist of over 300 items of things that I like! They're rather cheap but they fit me and that's super important to me.

My cruise wishlist with SHEIN is about 30 items and will probably grow and shrink over the next year as my clothing size changes and I finalize what I want to take.

I know I don't need the same romper in 3 colors, but I just might get it in all 3 colors.

I know I don't need 8 dresses, I'll probably take 2 or 3 on the cruise to have something to pick from for the fancier dining locations, but I'm like 80% sure I'll buy all 8 dresses because I can wear them to church.

I have some sandals picked out as well. While I like them, I'm not sure that I want to get them. I'll use this time to think about it.

Also, I'm giving myself until the end of the year to get my storage unit sorted. I'm nearing my resolve to just call a junk hauler to get rid of the bookshelves (thrift places won't take them because they're plyboard or something from IKEA no matter how good of condition they're in). I'm keeping the China cabinets because I'm keeping my mom's China dishes. Plus there's a lot of Princess House my mom left me. So, I need to get rid of stuff to downsize, yet again, to a smaller unit and that will allow me to have more money going forward.

I have an election training today. It's going to take up about 7 hours of time. No, the training isn't 7 hours, it's 2.5 hours, but since I'll be on the bus, I need to give myself 2 hrs travel time before and it'll probably take 2 hours travel time after to get home.

Now I could save 2 hours if I can get my mom or dad to drop me off (then I can also get lunch beforehand), then I'll only have to worry about getting home. eta just asked if my dad can drop me off there. nope. it'll be cheaper to take the bus, which means I have less time to help them move stuff from the apartment to storage. Don't bitch at me when we're "not on schedule" anymore.

The point is, this 7 hours, or even 5 hours if I get dropped off, is taking away from time that I could be packing and moving boxes...but if I don't go to the training, then come election time, I won't get paid for working at the polling place, and that's $175 I could really use.

In other news...I think I'm going to start packing up the clothes in my closet. I'll start with the stuff in the back on both sides as those are my moms or sisters things. I don't know why I have their stuff in my closet and every time I ask, I never get a straight answer, or I get, "That's not mine" and when I suggest giving it to good will or the Salvation Army, I'm told no.

New for 30 years old, I need a couple of business suits. I choose pantsuits.

pantsuit 1:
some sort of vibrant color blouse
This jacket
These pants

pantsuit 2:
some sort of vibrant color blouse
This jacket
These pants

of course each pantsuit would need their own specially selected shoes. something comfortable, stylish and business-like.

Also, this dress is pretty bold for me, but I really like it.

going through my clothes and packing up what I want to keep but don't foresee wearing in the next 4 months.

It's come to my attention that while I have a lot of clothes, none of them are no longer considered "business" appropriate. I can "dress up" a lot of what I have, but it still comes across as business casual and I feel woefully under-dressed when I go to the self help or domestic violence centers.

I think the next couple of month I'll be getting more business suits - skirts, slacks and jackets and packing away some of my "business casual" stuff.

I have like 6 pair of jeans. I almost always live in jeans. when I go to work (at the church) I dress however I want, but since I've been volunteering at the self help center, I've been having to dress up more, even for those 3 hours I'm there. When I used to work at the other church (back in 2007) I dressed neatly, almost business casual, because right after I went to night school and I didn't want to be lugging around a gym bag, my backpack and purse 5 days a week. But the point about the jeans...sometime in May, N, my supervisor, approached me after my shift and was like "we sort of aren't allowed to wear jeans." They actually weren't jeans, but dark flowly dress pants. Wasn't going to debate about what my pants were or weren't so I said okay and left. haven't worn those pants since - at least to the Self Help center. I've worn them to the Domestic Violence Center though.

point of this was that I need to get more business like clothes...or wear my Sunday dresses (that I no longer wear to church because I wear jeans hah!)

getting rid of clothes (mostly shirts & dresses) that a) I haven't worn in years & b) I can no longer fit.

just when i make a dent in the clothes on hangers hanging up, I notice several large bags on the floor that ALSO HAVE CLOTHES IN THEM!

so I have to go through them and make sure I can't fit them before automatically marking them for donation.

Oh, I also have a tub of slippahs (aka flip flops). I'm pretty sure I fit them still. I'll clean them up and see if they'll be fit for donation or if they're still too dirty looking to donate, then I'll keep them.

every time I use Yahoo! Weather to check what the weather is going to be like, Sunnyvale comes up and makes me think of Sunnydale which makes me wonder if I'm Buffy lol

the temp tomorrow has me scrambling to change what I'm going to wear. the high is going to be 63° and yeah, that's warmer than a lot of the country, but not warm enough for me to wear leggings and a dress. Thursday & Friday it's supposed to be in the 70s and that's more conducive to me wearing something like that. Sometimes I wish I could go in wearing jeans and a nice top, but that's not very professional.
