But I have wine.

I was going to drink it tonight, but it's a "fancy" one with a cork, so I had to buy a corkscrew and that doesn't arrive until Tuesday, so I'll probably have wine with either my chicken or pork chops while I write and try not to dispare over the election

Also, I haven't used my Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet in a while (like maybe 18 months or so), but now it needs to be used...only it can't be used.

See, in the process of me checking that it was all up to date, it somehow got reset to factory settings! But that's okay, I didn't lose anything of importance, HOWEVER! now I can't get it to set up!

I tried 4 times, with 1 of those times while I was on the phone with B&N customer service. They've forwarded my problem to tech support and I was told to try again in 24-48 hours.

I've had this tablet since at least 2013 (feels like longer). I likely bought it with my tax refund that year.

If they can't figure out why it can't go through the with set up, then oh well. I didn't use it much and I guess 7 years is a long time for a Nook? I don't know.

I'm not going to lie and say I'm going to try to post more. In fact, I really didn't want to post this, but felt like a had to?

Yesterday a family friend retired* from the US Navy after 30 years of active service. His retirement party/ceremony was held at Wilson Creek Winery & Vineyard in Temecula.

*His official retirement date is October 1, 2013 so between now and then he's on an 80 day "vacation"

I didn't take many pictures because I didn't want to run my cell phone battery down, but now I'm wishing I would have taken more of the Winery itself as the location was very beautiful.

Being at the party gave me ideas for the 2nd part of (what was supposed to be) a quick H50 ficlet I started earlier. I hope to have it finished by Sunday night so that I can post it.
