so I'm reading this fic on ff.net and it barely makes decent. has 3 chapters and the flow is all over the place. chock full of spelling errors

then out of left field there's mpreg! NO WARNING! I don't have a problem with mpreg, but dude, warn for it so I don't think the whole thing is hokey (which in this fic its just utter crap with how it was written)

the news is sprung on Danny and he doesn't freak out and then immediately wants to tell Chin and Kono. no set up, no "you may want to sit down"

at this point (towards the end of the 2nd chapter) it's like an on going train wreck and I'm watching it unfold.

My BFFlatmates used to read badfic on purpose, because, yeah, trainwreck. I never go to FF.net, though - learned that quickly, it is not going to be mostly good fic and some bad, there. It's going to be a few rare gems in a sea of terrible fic...

back in 2002 I used to have ALL my fic there when I was writing pop stuff. Then one day I was so over the website that I took all my stuff down. If there was a way to delete my account, I would have gladly done that.

You're right about there not being many good fics. Found this one story that I absolutely love and wish was on AO3

when I do my search, there's 1,083 H50 fics in varying stages of completeness (4 or 5 of them are mine lol) and I've found 2 stories there that are also on AO3 as well.

the one I'm currently reading there is called 100 Ways to Love Your Husband HIS Way, but it's more bromance than pairing and it's hilarious, and thoughtful and there's some angst, but it's just so wonderful.

there was a note at the end of the chapter that was all "I've seen a lot of stories where Danny gets pregnant and I wondered what it would be like if Steve was pregnant".

I wanted to leave a comment linking back to a story on AO3 where Steve was pregnant but I clicked the little x to close the tab

that is so true. but late at night, when I can't sleep, I click over there to find something to put me to sleep. sometimes it works and sometimes I find something that has me up until 2 am reading
