my overall thoughts: MEH! I wasn’t impressed by the episode. Didn’t need Doris and DEFINENTLY DIDN’T NEED CATHERINE! What is her point? Where is her character development!? So far I don’t think she’s earned the regular cast spot she was given. But on a plus, she wasn’t working the case like she has in the past…so there is that…

She's actually been given a lot and used in both an action role and a romantic one, and they've even given her big slices of screen time and smaller ones like last night so it. The alteration is good.

We didn't get any background on Max once he became a re-occurring character until 2.20? I agree we need more development, and I hope they give us some. Little pieces here and there is all they need to do. But I guarantee the part of fandom that is screaming the most about the lack of development will only scream even louder if we get a Catherine centric eppy that does give us the needed back-story.

I'd probably be one of the ones screaming about an episode around her. I think where my issue comes is in the lack of development. When she's been given the screen time, I don't feel we've been given background on why she's there. We don't need a an episode revolving around her to give us a back story.

Well last night she was having dinner with Steve :-)
