Umm...whut?

So, umm, I graduated from ICDC College online back in November and TODAY, August 15, 2012, I get an e-mail that ICDC College will celebrate the graduation of its 10/15/11 - 10/15/12 Graduates (that means me!) on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.

3 things: a) why did no one tell me there was actually going to be a graduation, b) why didn't they tell me they'd be celebrating groups of graduates and c) 3 months notice? I have to rsvp for more information.

My parents won't be here to go to it. That's 10 days into their month long vacation in FL.

I'm going to think on this before deciding if I want to be apart of the graduation.

in the invite email they sent, they said I had to rsvp for more information...and in order to do that, I need a student login but the 2 I had are no longer active

Congrats, I guess? That's so bizarre. You would think they would send it immediately. But then, after all the issues you had with them then I guess it makes sense they'd be incredibly disorganized about the graduation too. And that sucks your parents wouldn't be able to attend, if you do go. I hope they don't make you pay for anything.

oh and I just noticed the email address it came from - a g-mail one. I've never gotten email from a g-mail address before.

I'm beginning to think it might not be legitimate? I don't know. tomorrow I'll call one of my former advisors and ask about it.

That's strange. You would think it'd be an ICDC one. Calling them definitely sounds like a good idea. Good luck!
