there go my jeans

Lora called to tell me the Christmas dinner that we're going to with some church friends tonight is "kind of dressy".

Great, there goes the plan of wearing jeans. I know how to dress up jeans, but I have a feeling that wouldn't fly tonight.

So...dress pants and I have to pull out my Christmas-y tops. Just as well, tho. I'm going to need them for Sundays and when I go to another party on the 17th.

and I won't be wearing my peep toe heels as I didn't get a pedicure and don't feel like polishing them myself.

I better hop to it. I have 2 1/2 hours until she picks me up.

eta and I can't forget that I need to find another purse to take as my mini-backpack will clash with what I'm wearing lol

I was going through my closet for my Christmas-y tops and found the "jeans" I bought when I was working at the library last year. They're nice and comfy...and look like black jeans. I won't be wearing them tonight as I already picked out my pants, but I'm set for Sunday and the 17th when I go to my friend's party

It's always good having your clothes ready and knowing what you're going to wear. I had a pair of black jeans but wore them and washed them so many times the color was fading. Been on the look out for a pair but haven't found one yet.

I live across the street from a strip mall that has a Ross and Marshalls and my mom used to go there every time she got paid looking for clothes for me, my sister's daughter, her nieces or herself. She hasn't done that in a while but I haven't made a dent in a lot of what she's bought me
