OMG! I’ve never been stumped by a friggin’ prompt before! I know EXACTLY how I want the story to play out, but I just can’t get it going! I'm thinking that maybe if I approach it as a series of drabbles (tho chances are, they wouldn't 100 words) I might be able to get it done...and still have it go the way I want.

It’s like Steve and Danny with the Marquis and having to push it up the hill because it died…only this story hasn’t had the change to breath because I can’t get it going.

Yeah, that analogy probably didn’t make sense. I’m running on fumes as I was up until 4 am reading

Sounds like you have a plan to attack the problem. Maybe, if you step away from the prompt for awhile and go back to it that might help. It used to help me when I was writing.

Thanks. It's shaping up to be 3 parts, but depending on how much it continues to flow, it might be more and I can work with that. All I needed to do as add Grace and she seems to make it flow better

Of course that means it turns into a full blown story, but I don't mind.

Maybe you can skip the beginning and write it from the end. Or start somewhere in the middle and let that lead you to where you want it to begin.

I kind of started in the middle and then the beginning popped in my brain. so far it looks like it works, but I need to get more put down and see if it flows
