Let's Make a Movie

Over at landofart  (which you should all join because it's so much fun!) there's a challenge to come up with a movie inspired by a song. The twist however, is that we can't pick the cast or the song (sort of). We opened our music player and randomly picked 5 songs, then from the 5 songs, one was chose and we were given a cast of 3 singers or actors/actress. Then we had to make up a synopsis for the movie starring the celebrities we were given. Finally (I guess) we made a movie poster for said movie.

My song choice was Boots & Boys by Ke$ha and the celebrities were Regina Spektor, Will Arnett, Renée Zellweger

I don't necessarily know if what I came up with works with the song, but I gave my own take on the song and did a period movie. After 7 plays of the song (please don't make me listen to it again...) this is what I came up with.

Movie Synopsis:
On a trip to New York, Jacob Tuttle (Arnett) is sucked into a life of speak easies, jazz and a life vastly different than the slow farm life of Madison County, Montana. One night, as he’s leaving The Cocktail Lounge, owned by Big Daddy (Gere), he overhears Sophie (Spektor), a beautiful jazz singer in an argument with Mamie (Zellweger), a new singer hired by Big Daddy. Sophie is told to leave and on her way out, bumps into Jacob and its love at first sight for her. He was so naive, and she was well…beautiful. She shows him the town and he forgets all about the Montana farm life, but what happens when a blast from Jacob’s past shows up to bring him home?
