quick update on my dad

I spoke to my mom about my dad. He did have a stroke, but there was no lasting damage. he has low blood pressure so they're monitoring that. his doctor thought he has an aneurysm, but that was also negative. he's going to be day by day to determine when he can be released to come home.

now to go back to studying for my finals

So sorry your dad and family are going through all that. My gram had ITAs many years ago - she was fine after, though it was scary at the time. I hope he'll be feeling better every day.

Thank you. I will. Thankfully there are people from the church who have said they'd come sit with her during the times I'm not there (trying hard not to get worked up over the idea of seeing my dad in the hospital bed) because of school/finals or my own doctor appointments.

Oh, dear, I've been away for a few days! I'm so sorry to hear he had complications with his surgery, but I'm so glad to hear he's doing better now. *HUGS*

Thank you. I don't know if the stroke was a complication from the surgery because it happened the following day, but still scary nonetheless
