that's quite a bit of property damage

DUDE! about 30 minutes ago, someone crashed into the wall of our set of garages, into unit 1's garage and the wall between garages 1 & 2 was crashed in.

OUR GARAGE IS NUMBER 2!

Usually the people in #1 park in their garage, but lately they've been parking outside. I don't think they had much of anything in their garage but they are't home for us to tell them. eta 1 they just came home, but don't speak much English. waiting for their daughter to get home to translate. hopefully it won't be too late.

So far, no one from the other complex where the accident happened has come over to say anything. eta 2 my dad went to the other property and said the car isn't there. so basically a hit a run. *sighs*

Monday a representative from the property management company will be out with the property owner.

eta 3 nearly an hour later, the lady who crashed into the garages and did damage to my neighbor's garage and my garage came to talk to my dad. I don't know if they've talked to the people in #1 yet.

From what little I heard: the lady has insurance. That's good. And apparently her shoe got stuck? I don't know. But why did it take AN HOUR for her to come back!? The police just left like 30 minutes ago from taking a report. I don't know if that's why these people came to talk to my dad, but I'd imagine this would still be treated as a hit and run.

What the hell?! That's most certainly a hit-and-run!! I'm glad she came back, but she still shouldn't have left. Good thing no one was in the area when the crash happened! Is that something else to be fixed while you're gone, or can they start repairing asap?

I'm assuming it'll be worked on as soon as the garages are cleared out.

My dad and I were just talking about where we were going to put the election supplies because we pick them up tomorrow (he forgot). then I was thinking that this Tuesday (10/30) was election day, but there's still a whole week to go

If only it were this Tuesday! Then we could be over with all the bullshit and the ads. I'm so sick of it! I don't even really know what I'm voting for the props. Stupid Props. Except for 30 and 33, I'm stumped.

I don't know what I'm voting for with anything. I still don't know which way I'm going to go in regards to the props about raising taxes for education. I'm all for more money going to schools, but I don't think raising taxes is the way to go.
