I just found out that Malik Yoba is in Alphas.

I've loved Malik since his New York Undercover days!

So, someone tell me about Alphas and why I should watch it.

I was surprised, and then hooked by Alphas. The characters, though they have special abilities, are very real. Once I started watching, I couldn't stop. I recommend it for the characters. (I'm kittycrackers on livejournal)

Alphas is kind of like X-Men without the spandex? I don't know if that helps if you're not a comic book person, but I swear that's what I'm thinking every time I watch it (and I mean it in mostly excellent ways.)
