This is probably my 3rd time trying to get through this book. I really enjoy it, and the other books the author has written, but I just lose interest so fast that I only get between chapters 11 and 19 before I stop reading.

(no subject)

sometimes I really wonder about the comments I get on my fic.

I wonder what they look like and if they really do get as excited as their comments come across to me.



I really really need to ask my sister if I can stay with her in November and December. I'm just embarrassed to for some reason.
I also need to finish packing up my room. Before long, I'm going to have to pack up the China cabinet...and gah this packing thing just makes me mad. not really I have to pack, but that I'm being told to pack things that aren't mine and that I don't use. The stuff in the China cabinet is all my mom's collected stuff. it's stuff she need to go through and decide if she wants. Because, hand to God, my decision would be to throw it all away. Hell, that's what I'm doing (or will be doing soon-ish) with a lot of the knick-knacks in my room. I just need to pluck up the courage to do it lol

Hawaii Five-0 Premiere on the Beach

Although it looked like it might not come to pass, the fans let CBS know that they wanted Hawaii Five-0 to continue the tradition of Sunset on the Beach, and we made it happen!  This Sunday, September 23rd, thousands of fans will stake out a spot on the sand in Waikiki, hoping to get a glimpse and a photo of the show’s cast.  Stars Alex O’Loughlin, Scott Caan, Grace Park, Daniel Dae Kim, and Masi Oka, are scheduled to appear, in addition to some of the series regulars.  We don’t know all of the recurring actors who will attend, but I hope that Mark Dacascos (Wo Fat) is among them. Last year he made an indelible impression on fans with his generous and genuine spirit. After the Red Carpet walk, the audience will be the first in the nation to view the Season 3 premiere episode.  If you’re one of the lucky ones who will be attending, remember to take your sunscreen, plenty of water, and have fun!
