jury duty

for my jury duty service, there's an online juror orientation that takes about an hour (!!!!) and if I do it, I can go in later on the first day of court, if I have to go in at all. So instead of having to be there at 7 or 8 am, I'd get to go in at 9 or 10 am. This is good. The courthouse is like a 1.5-2 hr bus & train trip away.

I also have until 10 pm on June 17 (my service time starts June 18) to complete the orientation. I have 19 days so I'll get it done sometime.

Have errands, but currently reading the newest chapter of deepbluemermaid's Family Business. so once I finish that, I'll go out to face the day...or something like that. heh

just a bit of day dreaming

in my fic, this is where Danny, Steve and their little family are going to vacation this summer when they go to New Jersey.

Looking at all the beach front vacation rentals made me want to spend a few days there.

well how did that happen

I think I might have accidentally extended But Why Daddy? by a chapter (or two), but I'm really trying not to make that happen.

I'm working on chapter 17 (which won't get posted on Wednesday like it's supposed to) and I'm trying to advance the story for the 3 year time jump in the epilogue/chapter 18, but I don't want to bog down 17 with too much.

I hate ending multi-chapter fics with odd numbers. That's one of my fic hang ups - even numbered chapters!
