it's enough to make you worry

I was up at 6:30 this morning (just started feeling restless despite going to sleep at 3 am after I'd woken up at midnight because I fell asleep at 3 pm)

so anyways, I'm awake an hour before my alarm goes off and then my mom's phone rings. my first thought is "omg the retirement home is calling her in to cover someone's shift!" but she's been retired from working there since March 4th. my second thought was something happened to someone in the family and I wondered if I was going to have to text Nina that I wouldn't be in today. By this time, the house phone was also ringing, but then it dawned on me...IT'S MY MOM'S BIRTHDAY! her family is in Michigan, and it's 9...almost 10 am (now 10...almost 11 am), so of course it'll be early here when her siblings call to wish her a happy birthday

yeah, I'm slow. but it's early. give me a break lol

My brother called yesterday (today he's having his wisdom tooth removed), my sister and her kids called today...me? I'll be getting my mom a card. I usually don't...but she's 66 and the only mom I have so yeah.

Time to get ready for my morning at the courthouse. I hope it goes by fast.

Apparently the reason the ink in the printer is gone after 190 prints (instead of 390 prints) is because high yield ink wasn't purchased. Seeing as how we don't have a 2nd all black ink printer to fall back on, I'd suggest always buying the high yield ink. I don't think there's much of a difference in price.

Apparently (x2) the copier/printer all in one (that's no longer compatible with the new computer to be a printer, which is why we had to buy a new printer) has never been serviced and I believe we've had it for 5 years. I looked on the Canon website for businesses that can service it and found a place that's less than 10 miles away. Put in a call and waiting for the man who does the servicing to call me back. I don't think I'll hear from him before Monday, but in case he does call and I'm not in the office, I have the machine information written down.

But yay! BASEBALL GAME TOMORROW EVENING! So excited! I got an e-mail from the Angels giving me the Probable Pitching Match-up for the Orioles as well as the Angels.

it's already after 5. I need to get my stuff together and head to Staples. I also need to get my mom a card. I wonder if they sell any there? LOL

However, before I can any kind of fun, my dad was a lazy _____________ and didn't do ANY KITCHEN CLEANING and it feels odd to say, but I haven't been in the kitchen in 3 days (I have my own stash of water and have been eating out with friends), so he tells me (as he's leaving to go to them movies with my mom) that "the dishes need to be washed and the floor mopped...basically clean the kitchen). I really wanted to tell him "__________ off and do it yourself." but I HATE having a dirty kitchen.
