and I have a publication date....sort of

I signed up for hawaii_bigbang, and I already have my story, plot and outline.

I've been working on it (plot/outline) for 3 months. Hoping to start typing it up once I finish with my other challenges - so probably sometime in May, June at the absolute latest.

I will have worked on this particular story for 8 months before it will finally see the light of day (get read).

now to set up my writing notebook to take more detailed notes, and some research. I love it when my research crosses paths with watching old tv shows. so much fun.

I think I mentioned this before, but recently my dad discovered Psych and White Collar. Psych is airing in reruns on regular tv and White Collar is streaming on netflix.

well, the other night my dad was like "I just finished White Collar. so sad it's only 2 seasons" and I was like uhh no it's not. and he was all, "I just watched the finale" and I was all, that was the finale of season 2. season 3 just wrapped at the end of Feb and season 4 won't start for a while. He STILL didn't believe me, so I had to pull it up on wikipedia and he was like oh. okay.

It was like HELLO! I know quite a few people who watch the show and talk about it on LJ and I THINK I'd know if the show ended for good.

I guess now he's going to move on to watch more of Psych. I don't know if it's streaming on netflix or not.

need a new mattress

or at the very least a foam topper or something

bc I am now starting to feel the effects of a mattress that you can feel every spring that's in it.

can't afford a new mattress and I'm feeling just selfish enough that I don't want to put my tax refund to getting a new one, so I'm going to ask my mom if she can get me one of those mattress pads.

That'll have to do until after my birthday trip in September
