I should whip my room into shape

while I wait for new fic to be posted, I should probably do something about the state of my room.

it's entirely too cluttered.

I have a few boxes that are packed and could go to storage, the stuff at the foot of my bed could be re-organized and possibly put in storage as well. AND I'll also need to go through the stuff in storage. my little 5x5 unit is at its max. Most of it is stuff for when I get my own place, but the majority of it is dolls and stuffed animals I refuse to part with.

but yes. re-organize my room and pack stuff away in storage. That's what I need to do while I wait for fic to read.

so many school books (and DVDs)!

of the school books I'm keeping there are way more than I thought.
13 on my bookshelf
6 on the floor (need to make space on the bookshelf)
5 on a rolling cart - they need to be sold


and then there are my DVDs!
164 on the DVD shelves
26 on the end of my bookshelf
13 sitting on the chair by my bed

(I think I have a DVD addiction lol)

I won't even go into the fiction books on my other bookshelf. They need to be organized as well. Maybe I'll find some space for my remaining school books there.

also rather fitting for today, I'm going to watch Hackers. but not The Social Network. what other online/internet movies are there?

decisions...decisions

suddenly the book on my shelf aren't as interesting as they were when I bought them. This isn't good. It was a waste of money to buy them years ago and I still haven't read them.

I've already picked up and put back 3 books.

going in for #4 lol

But so far on my suggestion list (to least read up on and decide if I want to read it) are:

reading and writing...just like any other day

I've done some (old) fic reading, now time for some fic writing.

exchange fic due in Feb (met the minimum but story not close to being finished)
after holidays/spring fling challenge starts in April (more or less)
casestory fic due in May (coming along nicely. 1k of 10k words written)

I don't think I'll be participating in other challenges March-May, unless the finished product will due after May

Trying to finish up the WIPs I have before diving into another big writing projects. gosh, this is a repeat of stuff I wrote before.

Need to save up my creative juices for the next big bang. I'd like to participate in that.
