there go my jeans

Lora called to tell me the Christmas dinner that we're going to with some church friends tonight is "kind of dressy".

Great, there goes the plan of wearing jeans. I know how to dress up jeans, but I have a feeling that wouldn't fly tonight.

So...dress pants and I have to pull out my Christmas-y tops. Just as well, tho. I'm going to need them for Sundays and when I go to another party on the 17th.

and I won't be wearing my peep toe heels as I didn't get a pedicure and don't feel like polishing them myself.

I better hop to it. I have 2 1/2 hours until she picks me up.

eta and I can't forget that I need to find another purse to take as my mini-backpack will clash with what I'm wearing lol

now another "problem"

If I wash my hair now, I'll be rushed to straighten it before having to leave for dinner. If I wash it tonight, I'll be too tired and I have to be at church early to set up for Communion.

but I REALLY need & want to wash my hair.

I could go au naturel and leave it curly after washing it. I seem to get a lot of compliments when its like that, but I end up having to wash it a SECOND time because it gets too hard to comb out when I'm ready to straighten it.
