Its not even Friday the 13th...why is so much going wrong

I should have stayed with my previous dentist but I changed to one closer to me and now I'm paying the price.

Last night my crown came out. I can't eat, can't chew without back teeth and that's where the crown was.

So I call my dentist this morning and NONE of their offices are taking new adult patients!

They can schedule me for a video consult before coming to the office But oh! They aren't doing crowns because of fucking covid! The dentist can refer me to another dental office to have the work done.

AND they have no appts today or tomorrow for the video consult and the schedule for next week hasn't been released. I was told I could call later today to see if there are any cancelations and that the schedule for next week might be open then.

They're too far from where I live and I think I'd still have to change insurance for them to do anything other than a free dental exam.

So I was able to get a video appt for 2pm (in like 10 mins) so I'm hoping this pans out. The receptionist said that if the dentist needs me to come in, I'll be going to the office that my insurance is with...so I don't have to worry about contacting the insurance to change anything over (just yet)

Dental schools might be able to help but crowns can be a time-consuming process with them. Might be a way to go.

I completely forgot about that and I know someone recently brought that up, I just can't remember if it was IRL or online lol

I'm going to look for a dental school near me.

Again, I just hope it isn't too far.

I went to USC for dental for a long time when I lived in L.A. so I'm pretty sold on recommending them to people.
