I fucking hate bugs!

We have fucking termites!

I noticed this weird dirt clump right above the wall A/C unit, cleaned it up, and saw 2 holes in the wall. I took some pictures because I was sure it bugs that created the mess and over the course of the hour, the dirt clumps were back!

I showed the pictures I took to Colleen and she said it probably is termites and to use packing tape to cover the holes. She also said I needed to tell property management.

Done. I got on my laptop, typed up a letter, added the pictures, and emailed the manager. They won't see it until Sunday night or Monday morning. And I promptly forgot about it overnight until this morning when I remembered while washing dishes.

I glance over to the spot from the kitchen sink (the living room and kitchen are basically 1 room) and see that the black spot has gotten larger! I walk over and the area is covered with the damn flying bugs!

I ALMOST FELL MOVING AWAY FROM IT! Flying bugs, bugs in general, creep me out! Especially when they're in an area I sit in!

I took a couple of more pictures and texted them to Colleen and she said yup, termites.

FUCKING HELL! I'm emailing these to the manager as well and on Monday when I take the rent check I'm going to tell them on the off chance they hadn't checked their email.

I hope no other units are dealing with this and that spot treatment will kill whatever is in our walls. It will be a bitch and very costly on the property owners to have to tent 20 units to get rid of termites.

So far I have to treat it like I did with the ants. Lots of cinnamon and windex. Well, I'm out of windex and going through the cinnamon that I have.

The manager needs to do something because its getting to be too much and during a quarantine is doubly unbearable.

I actually didn't know they don't bite so thats good.

But the flying around my head/mouth really squicks me.
