Things I wish the gyno would have told me

Last week I started taking Provera.
Today is day 7 and there is blood.
The way my gyno explained it had me thinking that after I finished with it, I would have my period.
There is also acid reflux and nausea.
In talking with my best friend I found out that Provera basically forces my body to have a period whereas birth control does something different so my body would react differently.
Mentally, I am NOT prepared for this. It's probably the increase in hormones because logically I knew that after taking Provera I would have my period, but it just didn't click and now it is and I'm not coping right?
The next 7-10 days are going to be great and I don't see the ob-gyn until Feb 23 ðŸ˜
