Tim Mison, star of the hit Fox series Sleepy Hollow, narrates the classic Washington Irving short story.
In the secluded Dutch territory of Sleepy Hollow, nebbish schoolmaster Ichabod Crane competes with the town hero for the hand of Katrina Van Tassel, the 18-year-old daughter and sole child of a wealthy farmer. As Crane leaves a party at the Van Tassel's farm one autumn evening, he is pursued by the Headless Horseman, an apparition said to be the ghost of a Hessian trooper snuffed out by a stray cannonball during the Revolutionary War.
Public Domain (P)2014 Audible Inc.
I really want those Sleepy Hollow tie-in books: The Secret Journal of Ichabod Crane by Alex Irvine (in Kindle and/or paperback) and Sleepy Hollow: Children of the Revolution by Keith R.A. DeCandido (in Kindle and/or paperback). And of course the season 1 DVD!

*after burning the audiobook to cd and listening a bit* I see what you mean. I think it's a lot to do with the background music? Also maybe the way he's reading the words. But yeah... I was about to start giggling like a lunatic if I hadn't stopped.
