Michelle Borth exits Hawaii Five-0; Won't be in season 5

While I'm happy Catherine won't be in season 5 and that the actress won't be on the show, I feel sorry for those who liked her - the character and the actress.

I hope Catherine is given the send off that she deserves and that come season 5, everyone can start with a blank slate and get back to enjoying the show.

And if the departure of Catherine/Michelle makes it hard for you to continue to watch the show, I am sorry for that as well.

I am not going to lie, I liked Catherine at the beginning. I thought she had alot of spunk and what not. But once she was upped to main cast I think the writers aproached it very poorly.

Okay if Steve had a girlfriend and never went with Dany Id be fine. But once you do too much it gets out of hand....PLUS once Michelle Borth attacked the fans....it really turned me off, which is sad cause when you have talent and act like that it ruins the character. So yeah I am really happy Catherine is leaving and maybe this will give chance for Michelle to redeem herself in my eyes.

I liked the character of Catherine quite a bit. I don't know what the writers were trying to do with her this season though. I think they wasted having her around more. I think they rushed the whole storyline with Billy and then once she joined 5-0 she became almost useless. It was sad really because kick-ass-Cath working on her own was fun. I think they should have left her in the Navy but found her a storyline on her own.

Agreed....she should have been like Felicity in Arrow leave her on the side make her do the technical shit and maybe have once in a while have a few Steamy scenes with Steve but no they had to go there and make her more

I think it ruined her allure. Thats why I often say....recurring should stay recurring unless its the Case of Carson Beckett....you really like them.

The whole twitter thing turned me off from Michelle Im like you dont tag people and call them stupid. I think that may have gotten her off the show too =(

You know how I feel. I liked her as long as she had a purpose. Just tossing her into eps made her worthless in my eyes. So much potential wasted.

I'll miss her - I liked the actress and I liked her character but no one is necessary on a continual basis except the core 4
