Nov. 23rd, 2013 12:56 pmTrying not to let it annoy me that the author I bid on for a fic back on December 1, 2012 hasn't delivered on the fic.
I emailed her back in July and she said she hadn't gotten the chance to finish it but would do so asap.
Now it's been another 4 months and she just posted a fic (like 600 some odd words), but no word on the fic for me.
I totally get that RL comes first and it can get very hectic and muses dry up, but just dropping a line for update would be great.
This is kind of souring me on participating in something like FandomAid. I'll just donate without worrying about the promise of someone giving something in return.

Date: 2013-11-24 01:01 am (UTC)I recently took part in an auction and I kept in contact with the person who won and ended up making more graphics than what I had offerered. Felt it was the right thing to do since it took me longer to make the graphics than I thought it would and my muse was also having fun making the graphics.
