the last straw?

Today my sister started in on my niece's bad attitude and when they finished going at it, my sister turns to have a conversation with me about something she talked to with my parents and I was like, "I figured that and mentioned it to mom and dad when I talked to them yesterday" but before I could finish saying that she was like, "can you let me finish before you start acting like Jasmine?!"

holy fuck, she started talking to me like I was her daughter!

So now I'm thinking I'm going to ask Lora if it would be possible to stay with them Sunday-Wednesday when my parents come back...plus someone would be there to look after Abe since he just got o ut of the hospital. I'm sure he'll be better able to better look after himself, but he's been in the hospital since December 22nd.

And I can also ask if I can borrow their car to pick up my parents on Wednesday. We still don't have a car and I think they have 6 pieces of luggage and that's sure to be a bitch on the bus and train.

But the point is, I don't feel like being here and its horribly uncomfortable listening to all the fighting/arguing between my sister and the kids.

Ended up asking a friend who lives near my place. I'll be staying with her Sunday night to Tuesday.

Sister called and told me that the kids were going to their Dad's for the rest of the week and that Friday she was going to her "friend's"

Right now I'm old people watching until my ride gets here to take me to my sister's.

Oh that's good! I'm glad you were able to get away from your sister. Has she always been like that, and with her kids?

This is honestly the most time I've spent with her since she got married in 1990 and since the kids were born. But whenever we get together for holiday dinners, there's the usual teenage attitude problems...though she's never talked to me like that without me talking back to her and since my parents arents back, I held my tongue.

So... never doing that again? lol I don't blame you for holding your tongue, especially without knowing if there were a place for you to possibly go with those last few days. Too bad you can't move back into your parents' place early. Even without furniture, I bet it'd be nice and quiet to have it to yourself for a few days!
