Trying to get Garbiel's backstory, was he put in prison before Malia died. If so, then why is Gabriel replying to Chin that he's got Chin's back playing off the fact that 5-O was off rescuing Danny and nobody helped Chin. I'm confused about GsGabriel

Date: 2015-05-16 10:56 pm (UTC)I don't remember exactly but during that ep where Gabriel was first shown, it was because Chin was being investigated by IA for taking whatever money Gabriel had from his illegal business in exchange for Chin letting Gabriel go.
When Danny needed the mone to save Matt, Chin went to Gabriel and got the money. Well you know how the whole thing with Matt went down in the end. Danny was extradicted to Columbia and the rest of the team was trying to get him back while Chin was dealing with AI again. Gabriel ended up killing the AI cop thus getting him off Chin's back.
I think the show basically set Gabriel to be the big bad for the next season. I hope this answered your question. Its hard to go in depth sincd I'm on my nook - having a hard time getting the internet on my laptop. If you have more questions let me know.
