I watched series 1 of Downton Abbey and I really enjoyed it.

If I talk about series 1 outside of a cut tag, that's not spoilers, right? I mean, series 2 just ended last month, right? so I don't have to cut tag, this, right? I know it might sound flippant, but I'm also curious.

was NOT expecting the boy on boy kiss! That just sort of blew my mind. and I also really hate Thomas!

I totally ship Matthew/Mary (so sad things didn't pan out for them!) and Bates/Anna

Thomas and Sarah O'Brien always plotting pissed me off. then what O'Brien did to Cora was just HORRIBLE!

what Edith did to Mary was just dirty! Calling Mary a whore, then telling what really happened? not cool at all. She totally got what she deserved when Sir Anthony left the garden party where he was going to propose to Edith but Mary got to him first..

I think that's all the shocking stuff from series 1 I can remember.

I don't know when I'll get to watch series 2, but I'm anxious to start it.
