I send the writer a note about that and they still keep doing it!

That type of thing drives me nuts. I can live with a slip of the keyboard, we've all had those, but when members of a fandom can't spell the characters' names properly (I'm thinking Sara/Sarah in CSI) it makes me want to weep!

exactly! but then to go on and continue to make the same mistake after it's been pointed out?! come on! that leads me to believe you're ignoring the correction and shouldn't put that yo want people to point out mistakes.
