I might have to go the private route or the car auction route.

yeah. my mom's cousin works for Enterprise and he's supposed to tell us the next time they have a sale but we haven't heard from him in a while

If I go the dealership route, be it Carmax, Drive Time or whatever, I'm going to have to ask my mom to co-sign with me or hope to get a well paying job and get it myself.
