my Steve & Mary 2x23 coda is now split into 2: Steve telling Mary their mother is still alive, and Steve introducing his mother to Danny, Chin and Kono.


Mary doesn't react very well to finding out Mom's alive...and has been for the last 20 years.

Steve hopes Danny, Chin and Kono don't have the same reaction, but he's fairly certain none of them will call his mother a bitch


Question: if you had to guess, how soon after his wife's death, did John send Steve and Mary away? and Chin and John McGarrett worked together while Doris was still alive? It's possible Doris and Chin could have known each other, right?

Well Mary says to Steve that the last time they saw each other was at their mothers funeral, but she could have been being overly dramatic.

In 2x14 it is 1992 and Steve walks into the house and had been somewhere that is not a funeral, he has a backpack. He says he just stated junior year and school starts in sept yes? His mum died in April 19, 1992 (1x11) So maybe a few months? I'm not American I might be wrong.

The. Again they changed his age so who the hell knows...

depending on where the school is located, the new school year starts sometime in August to the first week of September. and for him to be starting his junior year, he has to at least be 16. we know his birthday is in March (damn, his mom died weeks after his birthday).

time to start flubbing the time line...or re-watch past episodes. Thanks for providing the episodes I should look at.
