I'm working on a scene for one of the timestamps in my 20/20 'verse.

the scene goes like this:

Steve's on the market for a new car bc the Camaro isn't big enough for 2 car seats, Grace, Danny and Steve...and it's too much of a hassle to get the car seats in/out of the Silverado.

Now on this particular day Mary Ann has her nieces and is using the Camaro. She stops for gas when she's carjacked. someone witnesses it and calls the police.

A chase happens. lots of police cars are going after this guy. They run the plates and find out it's a cop car so this guy is able to hear everything that's going on thanks in part to the police scanner. Police chasing however don't know about the babies in the back seat. One of the cops suggests the pit maneuver (pursuit immobilization technique)

all hell almost instantaneously breaks loose when Chin, Kono, and Steve (all in their separate vehicles) get on the line and yell not to do that because of the babies in the back

and omg Danny is LIVID when they still attempt to do it

and that's about all I got, but I need to flesh it out more and watch more pit maneuver videos to listen to the police chatter
