I don't think this is anything different than what we've seen, but...

How will producers top last year's bloody cliff-hanger that killed off both Kelly Hu's and Jean Smart's characters? "It wasn't easy, but personally I think we did it," says executive producer Peter Lenkov. Needless to say, this season's finale once again kicks off with the death of one of their own. Teases Lenkov, "There's a lot of blood, big stakes and an amazing cliff-hanger for everyone. It's a ticking-clock episode with everything taking place almost in real time." Watch for the returns of William Bladwin, Terry O'Quinn and Tom Sizemore, while Danny (Scott Caan) is dealt a challenge that could forever change his family dynamic. In the final moments, Kono (Grace Park) will face a treacherous auqatic predicament, and the true identity of the mysterious Shelburne will at least be exposed. Says Lenkov: "It's a big deal."

This, coupled with seeing that Teilor Grubbs is going to be in the episode, has me all sorts of curious about what's going on with Danny...

Reading this makes me think they're gonna kill off Rachel or Stan. I don't see how anything else would change family dynamic.

unless it happens off screen, so to speak, they would have listed them in the guest/recurring cast. But...something could happen with them. I heard the actor who plays Stan has another show. so if something does happen to him and Rachel decides to go back to the mainland or England, naturally Grace would go with her, unless Danny's offered custody. That's getting into fanfic territory imo, though

yes. that's a possibility as well and would go along with an earlier release that he has to choose between work and Grace

Seriously, if it wasn't set in Hawaii, I doubt if Scott would have stayed as long as he has. If he gets bored and bails, I stop watching for sure.

But imagine the backlash of writing Danno out of the show?? I don't think it'd survive log. Cause i'd be so contradictory for him to not follow Grace.
