I met and exceeded the minimum word count needed for the rough draft for Restaurant at the End of Piikoi Street (my casestory fic)! Rough draft is due in 8 days on May 1st!

Part 1 is complete, part 2 is 60% complete, part 3 is not even 10% complete, part 4 is in outline form and part five is maybe 25% complete. I know that doesn't add up to 100%, but the way I tackled this is to treat each part as it's own little story, so I can jump around to each part as I get an idea.

7200 / 10000 (72.00%)

This says I'm 72% done, but I'm really not. This story is going to more than likely go over 10,000 words, especially is each part is around 2,500-2,800 words

I had about 7200 words on mine but then decided it was a good idea to add a whole new character. From the beginning. Stupid self! I should have at least 2/3 of it done by May 1. Remind me again why I signed up for this Big Bang???

I took out about 500 words of background information from the beginning because I didn't think it was the right spot for it. I should have left it in, for the sake of the word count, and then removed/moved it to another location in the story when I was doing my revisions.
