in so much trouble!

simplyn2deepI had to walk from the Jack in the Box to work in the rain because I missed the bus. No big deal. 3 blocks and I avoided the puddles and didn't get splashed by cars/trucks/buses due to flooding from poor drainage.
However, when I get to my office to sort the stuff in my pockets, THERE'S NO BUS CARD! I had it before I went in and I'm fairly certain I shoved it in my pocket when I saw the bus go by. So it had to have fallen out of my pocket while I was walking.
Now, instead of it costing me $5 for the whole day, I have to pay an extra $3 ($1.50 for 2 buses) and I have to make sure I make my connections or I'll be stuck in the rain. I don't have the luxury of riding whatever bus I want to stay out of the rain.
I'm about to retrace some of my steps to the office and hope I see it. If not, then that more than likely means my bus card when in the trash at Jack in the Box.
So much for having an uneventful Friday the 13th.
