I use my slow cooker quite a lot, because I can just throw everything in at breakfast time and come home from work to a casserole ready and waiting - I just need to quickly cook some pasta or rice to go with it. It's also good for making bolognese sauce - we make a big batch every couple of months, let it cook away in the slow cooker all day until it's really good and then freeze it in portions for a quick but home-cooked meal when we need it.

Meatloaf... we don't really eat meatloaf over here, although I don't know why. I must take a look at recipes on the 'Net and give it a try. What do you serve with it?
