simplyn2deephelping a couple of older members of the church fill out passport applications. the lady can't find her naturalization certificate so I looked up how much it is for a copy - $345 filing fee!
I went to this site for info and nearly spit out my gum when I saw that! That's outrageous!
Looking into other forms of identification the lady can use to get her passport should she not be able to find her naturalization certificate. In instructions for the passport, there was something about having a witness who is 18+ to fill out an IDENTIFYING WITNESS form and that can be used as identification for the passport application.
I srsly dread the day I get older and forget where I put important documents. Hell, I even have that problem now and I'm only 29!
