Well crap! The class I think I NEED to take to transfer (and I'm kind of interested in) is only offered 1 day a week - Tuesday nights. Looks like I'll be watching Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD later in the week.

AJ 105 Community Relations
This course provides a study of the complex and dynamic relationships between criminal justice agencies and the changing, diverse communities they serve while addressing crime and conflicts in society. An emphasis will be placed on the challenges and prospects of administering justice within a diverse multicultural population. The course will also focus on the ethics, politics and conflicting values in culture, religion and law.

For my "elective" classes, the choice is either Creative Writing or Spanish.

And it looks like Creative Writing is also only offered 1 day a week - either Tuesday or Thursday - in the afternoon.

ENGL 240 Creative Writing
This course provides an opportunity for students to explore their interest in literary creativity by writing original short fiction, poetry, play or screenplay, or magazine article(s). Writers will gain understanding of each literary type, have the opportunity to create in each area, and be introduced to the workshop method of criticism.
Transfer Credit: CSU; UC

Prerequisite: Satisfactory completion of the English Placement Process or ENGL 100 or equivalent with grade of Pass.

For the foreign language, it looks like I have more freedom, but I figure if I'm going to need to be on campus Tuesday night for my required class, I might as well make Tuesday/Thursday my Cerritos College days.

SPAN 101 Elementary Spanish
This beginning Spanish course emphasizes listening, speaking, reading, and writing and helps to develop an appreciation of cultural diversity through the study of differences and similarities between cultures.
Transfer Credit: CSU; UC*
*UC credit limits may apply. SPAN 101 and SPAN 111 combined: maximum credit, one course.

Tentatively, my schedule will be this:

Tuesday/Thursday
4:30-6:45 pm Spanish 101

Tuesday
7:00-9:30 pm Community Relations

Since Spanish requires a 1 hour per week lab, I think I’ll come to campus a couple of hours early to take care of the lab so I won’t have to worry about it.

OR

Tuesday
1:00pm-3:45pm Creative Writing
7:00-9:30 pm Community Relations

Next I need to look up math, Spanish and creative writing at Cypress College and find the schedule that best works for me.

I’d be willing to take night classes to free up my days to work. My parents would also probably like this option as well.
