Umm what?

so I'm reading a fic and all of a sudden characters from another show are thrown in. I'm like wtf?! and scroll back to the top to see if this was a crossover or if the author's notes mention anything about other characters being tossed in...and nothing

I know characters are introduced however the writer sees fit, but for nearly 5 chapters this fic was a mpreg H50 story, then the last paragraph/sentence of chapter 5 something odd happens and then in chapter 6 characters from Burn Notice are mentioned and I'm scratching my head going "wtf!? did I miss something?!"

and the more I'm reading, the more I'm thinking that it is a H50/Burn Notice cross over. I like both shows, but it would have been nice to know from the beginning it was going to be a crossover and with what show (in case I've never seen the other show)

writing goal for this week

my writing goal for this week is to write, complete and post 2 fic pieces.

I feel like I'm slacking in my writing resolution even though I've been writing nearly everyday. I think it's maybe because I don't have anything that's ready to post. everything I've been working on either can't be posted yet because it's for an exchange/challenge or I can't seem to find a proper finishing point to end it.

but I'm writing, so that's good.

And new H50! That always gets my creative juices flowing!

help me name my (fictional) Restaurant

I need to name my restaurant in this fic.

I have 2 possible names:

McGarrett's Restaurant & Bar
Jack’s Restaurant & Bar

throughout the story (at least the first half from what I can tell) the restaurant will be referred to as either McGarrett's or Jack's

or should I come up with a completely different name? If so...suggestions pleas.

I've got 5 scenes written up and I'm to the point where I need to decide on a name for the place.
