“A'ohe kahi e pe'e ai” – The island of O'ahu goes on lockdown when Five-0 hunts a terrorist who starts using weaponized drones on civilians. Meanwhile, McGarrett and Danno must go for a mandated review with a psychologist, resulting in a session which looks a lot like couples therapy, on the fifth season premiere of HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, Sept. 26, 2014 (9:00-10:00, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network.

My thoughts

Some pluses! STEVE AND DANNY IN THERAPY! Lenvok shared an editing photo of this and it also has Danny in a tie and Steve looking business casual (much like he did when he went to meet the Governor when Lori joined the team.

Also...Chin's brother in law, Gabriel is back! Oh boy! That's not going to be good.

And we get our first look at the new ME who will be working with Max.

Overall, I'm nearly vibrating with excitement at the episode and the potential for the coming season!

I dont know whether to be happy or scared for the couples therapy. Part of me is this a sign the writers of H50 might consider mcdanno or leave us with more subtext.

They said it "looks" like couples therapy. I was hoping that it was going to be in relation to Steve's PTSD, but it might be HPD related. But chances are we're going to get more subtext. I'm actually okay with that, as long as they don't do another about face later in the season.

No mention of Danny's brother though? I thought that was going to come into play too in the first ep? Maybe they are saving it for the end...

It'll probably be mentioned towards the end of the episode or in a bit of one off before it's mentioned more in future episodes. I hope this 6 episode arc with Danny & Matt is good!
