I had one; his name was "Uncle Jack" and he was a cop in Brooklyn and my Dad's best friend. I am also honorary "Aunt Karen" to 2 different friend's sons. IMO given S & D's relationship as partners, and the loyalty and friendship they ALL have as ohana, Steve and Chin would be Dutch uncles and Kono an honorary Aunt.
