too damn much theatrics!

My sister's church had their annual spring revival. It started Sunday night and ends Wednesday night.

My sister invited us today because the youth choir my niece is in was performing.

That's about all I liked of the night. The singing. The rest of the stuff, I'd gladly do without.

The guy who was preaching repeated himself so damn many times and then wanted everyone else to repeat him. And there was the lady sitting behind me who irked the hell out of me. every five minutes "amen!" please to be shutting up now.

But then the preacher guy redeemed himself with this quote he directed to the sistas (I don't remember it word for word as I was laughing too hard, but this is the jest of it): the next time than an unemployed, unsavory guy comes up to you wanting a leg, a thigh or a breast, send him to KFC!

...and the crowd went wild! That was the highlight of the 2 hour service.

Then I drove home with my mom lol I don't think I'll be going Tuesday or Wednesday. I can't sit through anymore preaching theatrics like that.
