woo hoo!

woo hoo!

After getting lost for about 10 minutes, my mom and I made it to the Hollywood Bowl! I went to the ticket booth, gave my voucher, then crossed my fingers that the concert I wanted was still available...AND IT WAS!

the image might show up super big (well it is for me) but I re-sized it to 512 x 384, so I don't know why it's showing up in it's original size.

I also need to re-check the directions I got because somehow I missed a freeway and that's how my mom and I got lost.

I'm so excited! my first time to the Hollywood Bowl and it'll be a great way to start off my 30th birthday

Nice! Wait, what freeway did you miss?

the 101 N I saw it as we were going by, but I missed it in reading the directions so we ended up staying on the 110 all the way to the end by the Rose Bowl. Good thing my phone has a GPS so I was able to navigate us back to the 110 to the 101.

I told my mom we needed a GPS system and she asked how much they were. I told her one could be bought for $100. If I bought it (which I might), I would bee keeping it. I know too many people who keep their dashboard mounted GPS devices in the car when they go shopping and that's temptation for thieves.

Oh wow, whoops! Yeah, it comes up pretty fast if you don't know where you're going. Well, if that ever happens again, just get off at Stadium Way and flip around.

Totally. It's best to just stick it in the glove compartment if you're leaving the car. I don't know why people would ever leave it out in the open like that. If I had one, I'd never leave mine in plain sight.

my sister would disconnect her gps, pack it in a carry case and stick it in her purse

That's smart! My lazy butt wouldn't want to carry it around though lol
