The results of my dad's MRI came in.

He had a blockage and they're giving him blood thinners in hopes that they will allow the blood to flow.

He'll be in the hospital for another 24-48 hours while they monitor him with this new medication.

All this was unexpected, but in the long run it was better to find things out now than months down the road.

Just hang in there.

oh yeah! turns out the clot was actually in the brain. very deep in the brain! so they're hoping the blood thinner works. I do too. brain surgery is not something I want to contemplate.
