Holiday Wish Meme

been a few years since I've done this

Step One
♥ Make an LJ post. It can be public or friends only, whatever you’re most comfortable with. The post should contain your list of ten holiday wishes, and these wishes can be anything - from simple (a fan fiction written about your favorite pairing), to medium (a DVD you want), to really extravagant (a brand new laptop or car). Just make sure these are wishes for things you really truly want.

Step Two
♥ Skim through your friends list and see who has posted their own wish lists. Then - and this is the most important part - if you find a wish you can grant, and it’s in your heart to do so, make sure that person’s wish comes true. Sometimes a person’s trash is another person’s treasure. If you have a leather jacket you don’t want or a gift certificate you’re never going to use, give it to someone who wants it.

Step Three
♥ Post this wish list any time after November 1st. Then repost it two weeks before Christmas.

♥ You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday fairy - to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not, it's your call.

♥ There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

My wish list
1. Donation to a charity of your choice
2. Some good tutorials/programs for making fan vids
3. anything and everything McDanno! (I'd love to have more fic featuring them)
4. something from my amazon wishlist

Well, I've already outlined your fic request for the fic wishlist meme. So I hope that will also suffice for your McDanno request here. ;-)

I peeked at your Wish List; another Diagnosis Murder fan. That was a fandom of mine once upon a time. And you have Charlie Chan there too! I watched all of them on Netflix.

I used to watch Diagnosis Murder everyday when I got home from school and then it would come on later in the night just before I went to bed.

Oh I love Charlie Chan! I have a copy of Meeting at Midnight and I think at one point, I watched all the ones off netflix (Sidney Toler versions)

Have you ever seen "Murder By Death"?

Its the most wonderful spoof of all those mystery flicks, including Peter Sellers spoofing Charlie Chan as played by Toler, and David Niven as Nick Charles...known in the film as Sidney Wang and Dick Charleston.

I recently made an automatic $10 donation to the Red Cross when shopping at Walgreens. I think every big shop should do that, just make it an add-on when you pay kind of like if you want cash back from using your debit!

I donate to places like the Red Cross and the Komen Foundation when I get my tax refund. This year I've been all about donating to organizations that help children via water therapy

Water therapy is brilliant! One of our family's best friends does that and it's great. The lowered gravity does wonders for all sorts of folks. It's really helped my stepmom recover from some very invasive surgeries (inserting metal rods into her spine to prevent scoliosis, then a knee replacement).
A great choice :)

holy crap! those surgeries sound painful!

if water therapy helps people, I want to be able to help as many people as I can
