I have a couple of fics coming due...and I haven't worked on them (much) yet.

h50_holidayswap fic is due sometime in December

8,000 word rough draft for mpregbigbang is due December 3rd.

I want to write. Really I do. but i think the current state of my room is messing with my ability to write.

Butting in here to say that I'm glad it's not just my Harlequin fic that is completely out of control!!

Mine is currently up to 20,000+ words. Does dante_s_hell know what she has wrought? ;-)

Right there with you, although in my case it's pretty much the state of my life -- ALL the rooms, metaphorically. *rolls eyes*

Hope you can find a way through; it always drives me nuts when I can't write, even when I don't have any fic due (which I DO). But really, you've got so much hassle and uncertainty and upheaval happening right now, don't be hard on yourself. Writing will come back!

Yes, I do have all of that going on. I miss writing regularly. I used to do it every day.

By this time next week, I'll be moving into my sister's place for at least 6 weeks and hoping that on the days I'm there alone, I'll have some good writing time.

I'm struggling with my holiday swap fic. Like I have 1500 words of one version written, but I'm 90% sure I'm gonna scrap it and start over. I kind of wish the person I'm writing for hadn't been so specific in her request. I just don't know if I can write the characters she wants...
