extended 4th of July

My Church's annual 4th of July BBQ is being held today at the Pastor's house. Our membership numbers have dwindled so much, that we've changed locations and now it's really more of a family affair type thing.

This will be a first, that I can remember. Then later this month we're having an ice cream party at their place as well. about the only thing we won't be having there is our weekly Sunday services (tho there was talk of that earlier this year) and our Bowling & Pizza Day in August (I can't wait for that)!

My foot is doing better. early this morning (around 5 am) I had to take the ace wrap off my foot. no matter how loosely I had it wrapped, it hurt so much. Now it's back to feeling like it did when I first injured it - the pinching as I walk. when I get to the pastor's house I'm going to take another motrin and wrap it and hope that it doesn't go back to hurting like it did to where I couldn't walk.

Ooh, Bowling & Pizza Day! I just hope it's not on August 11th because that's when I'm planning my bowling birthday party!! I'll send an invite out in the next couple days.

I still have no clue how I was able to bowl once a week, for an entire semester! Three semesters in a row!!

I think it might also have to do with the people you're with. like with a bowling league (which I think would be fun to be apart of). If you enjoy the company, then you don't mind doing it so often.

Maybe. It was a bowling class, so I don't know. I think the second semester I was on a team that ended up winning the class championship, so we all got trophies. That was fun!
