this is ridiculous

I heard someone talking about RIM, the company that does Blackberry, is filing for bankruptcy or something...and now for the last week I've been having network connection issues.

I'm totally positive that one has nothing to do with the other...maybe...but it's really pissing me off.

Multiple times a day I have to reboot my phone - turn it off, take out the battery, put the battery back in and turn it on...then hope it connects to the network.

SO MUCH HATE!

The check I get from working the election is going to go for a new phone. I need one that allows me to connect to the internet and if it had a mail app of some kind, that would be great too.

Do you think it could be the battery itself?

It could be the battery. My phone has been draining rather quickly the last few weeks. And a replacement battery might be cheaper than buying a new phone (even though I desperately want a new one, preferably touch screen).

iPhone for the win. I love mine and can't imagine living without it.

T-Mobile isn't that cool. If I wouldn't have extended my contract for another 2 years when I changed my plan, I probably would have jumped ship to get an iPhone.

Ditto on the battery. Mine's always running down super fast. I blame my seemingly eternal existence on Foursquare and GetGlue haha Really interesting about RIM though. My BB hasn't been acting up. Sometimes the clock (since my theme's a "modern" one I guess) of death spins for a minute or two longer than usual, but that's when I've been using my phone non-stop for 10 minutes.

i had the blackberry torch and for around 10/11 months it was fine, but then it started really playing up.

the battery would die really quickly, the blackberry shortcut key died, the back key died, the end call key died and to do anything i had to take the battery out.

i had to get rid of it and got an iPhone...i'd definitely recommend getting one <3

only problem I have with mine is the battery. Everything else seems to be working fine.
