looks like gibberish to me

took me an hour to figure out how the code worked, then code this statement

Axkkv ilsbp Pqbsb

I dread how long it's going to take me to code other stuff for the fic I'm writing. OMG

I wish I had a program where I could input the text I wanted coded, choose the code and bam, coded text. that would be so much easier for the purpose of this fic.

eta: I figured out why this particular cipher was so difficult to "get". it required a 3 shift to the left and I kept wanted to go to the right 3 spaces.

now I don't have to worry about that because [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] pointed me in the direction of a couple of useful sites. it'll make my coded text so much easier (as I don't have to do much thinking lol)

It certainly seems like such a program should exist! Google needs to get on that!

Lots of ciphers- you probably have this:
http://www.ciphersbyritter.com/LEARNING.HTM#ExDec

Here's a Caesar code translator/decoder in English:
http://web.forret.com/tools/rot13.asp

If you start typing in cipher translator, at about cipher trans, google pops up a bunch of suggestions for ciphers, including other kinds than Caesar

Good luck!

thank you so much! I clearly wasn't typing in the correct words for my search.
